“El verdadero campeón se forja en las derrotas, no solo en las victorias
Última semana, penúltimo mes e inicio de algunas actualizaciones que tengo pendientes antes de acabar el año y por ahí un conflicto sobre una migración de sitios hacia un VPS. Todo un backlog lleno de estrés sin embargo me doy el tiempo para poder ver lo que nos prepara WORDPRESS, ya que la semana pasada se ha anunciado la versión 6.7.1 la ultima de este 2024; ya que según su calendario la otra estará disponible en abril del 2025. Esta actualización me llama mucho la atención ya que mas de aportar nuevas features , corrige varios errores de su antecesor la Versión 6.7.0; Ya que esta catalogada como actualización de mantenimiento. Por lo que es muy importante descargarla e instalarla en su entorno. Así que actualizar mas bien dicho parchear la TRINCHERA DIVERGENTE.
Recuerden que antes de hacer cualquier actualización hay que hacer un respaldo. No esta demás
WORDPRESS 6.7.1
Este 21 de noviembre WordPress ha liberado la actualización 6.7.1 esta versión incluye 16 correcciones de errores en todo el núcleo. La actualización se centra estrictamente en solucionar los problemas que ha venido acarrando en versiones anteriores como :
- Mejoras en el editor de bloques: Se ha mejorado el rendimiento de edición y se ha optimizado el flujo de trabajo. La verdad es que se ve muy limpio el espacio de trabajo y con mas opciones de templates para crear contenido mas atractivo
- Mejoras en la seguridad de las APIS :
class-wp-interactivity-api.php. - Actualizaciones de estabilidad del núcleo: Se han implementado correcciones críticas para asegurar un rendimiento fluido del sitio. Como en los archivos CSS del área de administración (
wp-admin/css/common.css, entre otros). Archivos JS relacionados con menús de navegación y publicación (wp-admin/js/nav-menu.js,wp-admin/js/post.js) y Componentes internos como (wp-includes/media.phpywp-includes/version.php).

Garantizando funcionalidad y mejoras de experiencia de uso con interfaces fluidas para creadores de contenido y desarrolladores. Esta actualización da un paso más en la mejora continua del ecosistema, resolviendo rápidamente los problemas de la versión 6.7. y ofreciéndonos un producto PERRON “
Sobre compatibilidades de versiones de PHP
Esto nos indica que aun no esta del todo preparado para PHP 8.3 y pues para la versión 8.2 aun existe excepciones , pero mas para software de terceros como plugins. Hasta el momento a la hora de escribir este post. La cosa anda bien. Lo que si debemos tomar en cuenta es que la versión 8.1 de PHP, Esta de salida así que os invito hacer el upgrade ya que el próximo año esa versión de PHP va estar obsoleta.
